Clinical Supervision

My supervision style is informed by being a qualified registered BACP integrative therapist with over 13000 hours’ experience. I began training as a counsellor in 2006 whilst working as Mental Health Suppoprt Worker. I have run my private practice full time since 2010. In that time I have worked in a variety of settings as a consultant, facilitator and therapist (Mental Health Services, Schools, Prisons & Charities) and have specialist knowledge around working with survivors of sexual and domestic abuse. I am also an Approved LINK Adoption Counsellor and have extensive experience working with adopted people and families, as well as those affected by historically giving up their birth children for adoption..
I see supervision as a collaborative process to promote your reflective practice and continued learning, so you can practice as safely and effectively as possible. Working within a relational integrative framework I aim to create a safe environment where you can explore your work, your learning needs and importantly for continued and effective practice your own self care.
As an Integrative Therapist I am trained in various modalities; psychodynamic talking therapies, nature based mindfulness, somatic therapy, creative art and play, trauma informed therapy, attachment focused, adoption therapy and weave re-generative eco-psychology into my practice.
I now live and work on a piece of land set up to share with clients and supervisees
I am presently completing my supervisor placement hours. I am happy offer reduced rates whilst I am fulfilling these.
